Ignatian Spirituality

St. Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits), developed the Spiritual Exercises to transform people’s lives through a personal experience of God in the ordinariness of their lives.

You’re invited to explore this deep spiritual tradition with Peter W. Gyves, SJ, MD (a Jesuit priest and pediatrician by training). Learn the powerful tools of Ignatian discernment and prayer that can help you join in God’s desire to transform the world into one more responsive the needs of all God’s people.

These talks will challenge you to move from a faith that is centered in church doctrine to one that, while not denying the former, will lead you to living your faith in action. People from all faith traditions are welcome.

This series will take place in seven sessions, March 21-May 2 (Mondays), 6-8:10 p.m. All sessions will be held on the campus of the University of San Diego in Maher Hall, Room 205.

Cost is $50.
