Religious Liberty, Not Religious Imposition

Religious freedom cases make up only 1.2% of court cases–although you might be excused for expecting that number to be much, much higher, given media attention to these types of cases.

And only 0.6% of court cases fall under the Religious Freedom Restoration Act.

Of those, three-quarters argued against the HHS Mandate that would require employers to provide healthcare coverage that included contraceptives.

Despite the big headlines that some religious liberty court cases are making, the concept of “religious liberty” is not being used to impose religious beliefs on anybody. Click here for the full story.
