Restorative Justice Conference

Are you involved with criminal justice, re-entry, victim/ offender reconciliation, or prison ministry? Have you been a victim of crime? Do you have a loved one who is incarcerated?

You are invited to a free Restorative Justice Conference to be held Oct. 11 at the Diocese of San Diego Pastoral Center.

Featuring keynote speaker Howard Zehr, groundbreaking author and restorative justice pioneer, the half-day conference will include presentations by Joe Gilbreath of Rise Up Industries, Amalia Molina of Get on the Bus, Mary Acosta and Andrea Travers from the Restorative Justice Mediation Program, Dr. Jack Hamlin on the subject of international restorative justice efforts, and our own Deacon Jim Walsh speaking about prison ministry and re-entry.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The conference will take place 9 a.m. to noon, and will be followed by lunch (at no cost to attendees.
