Support for Cerebral Palsy

Cerebral palsy is the most widespread of all lifelong disabling conditions. Some 600,000 children and adults in the United States–9,000 of them from San Diego County–manifest one or more of the symptoms of cerebral palsy.

Since 1958, United Cerebral Palsy of San Diego County has been committed to serving the region’s citizens and their families affected by cerebral palsy and other disabilities with vital and innovative services. United Cerebral Palsy of San Diego County spends approximately 85 percent of its $3.5 million annual income on programs and services to assist children and adults with disabilities to live, work, play and go to school in their community independently. These services include evaluation and treatment, assistive technology, information and referral, early intervention, employment, individual and family support, social and recreation programs, community inclusion, independent living and advocacy, and community education.

On Nov. 5, the Life Without Limits Annual Awards Dinner will help support United Cerebral Palsy—and also provide an opportunity to honor David F. Hale, chairman and CEO of Hale BioPharma Ventures, LLC, as the “Life Sciences Leader of the Year.”

A fast-paced program will include short testimonials to the honoree from those in the San Diego business and philanthropic community. As part of the program, miscellaneous art, sports, travel and collectors items will be auctioned.

Tickets to the Life Without Limits Annual Awards Dinner are $200 per person. Click here to reserve your seat.
